Lucky's dream 2
In the deepest part of the night a silverly brilliant light pours through Lucky’s closed eye lids, forcing its way into his sleeping mind and awaking his mind. As he sits up he looks around and sees the others asleep unaware of what is happening. The light in its pale radiance is hard to look at directly, but Lucky can feel that it beckons him to follow it. Stumbling out of his cloak the thin mountain air chills him slightly as his feet pick their way through the ruins of the Brae buildings. There in the street before him is a tall elegant woman shrouded in light, Lucky recognises her as the woman from the previous dream. Adaru. She smiles gently at him. She asks “have you nothing for me, a simple offering, something fitting, a token of luck that I can bless?” She then nods indicating something. Lucky looks down and sees liquid light dripping away from his finger tips. Adaru speaks “my beloved you are wounded. You need all the help you can get.”
Lucky reaches into his pocket pulling out the silver dice that are his inheritance, holding them out to Adaru.
Adaru takes them from him cradles them in her hands and says. “These have existed from before I ascended, they are ancient, but yet they are very in tune with me.” She gently blows on them and they briefly glow. She then hands them back and Lucky now can feel that they vibrate ever so slightly in your hands with pent up energy. She smiles again saying “Be careful how you use them your luck will only protect you so much from their power.” With that she fades into the night leaving Lucky standing in the middle of the ruins alone.
